Regarding network speed and stability, they are considered among the best in the world in major cities such as Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh. Naturally this will be less true in more isolated places. But this should not be a problem since you are here on vacation, there is no need to go too fast.

Mobile Internet Package with Vietnamese Subscription

If mobile internet access is necessary for you at all times, it is of course possible with a local Vietnamese package. You can buy a prepaid card that will give you internet access. The main operators in Vietnam are Viettel and Vinaphone. Their offers are similar, budget around 100,000 Dong (4 euros) for one month of access with 4GB of data per day. That is more than enough!
