Chapter 3 (July 4, 2025) – Horizon Vietnam with Hematology Hospital Patients
Table of contents
From Horizon Vietnam, we believe that small gestures can bring true comfort, especially when they come from the heart. And sometimes, these gestures take the form of a simple fruit, chosen with care, offered at the right time.
Vietnam is a tropical country, rich in generous nature. Each season brings with it flavorful fruits, grown with care by local farmers. This time, it is the mango – sweet, fragrant and full of sunshine – that guided our gesture of solidarity.

In July 2025, our team once again visited Hanoi’s Central Hematology Hospital. There, hundreds of patients, often in precarious situations, struggle every day against illness. Some have been hospitalized for long weeks, far from home, tired, worried, sometimes alone. In this context, a simple gesture can have great value.
We had the opportunity to meet many patients, to whom we delivered a small package consisting of organic mangoes from Mai Châu, grown without pesticides, accompanied by small packs of milk. Modest gifts, but thoughtfully made. These mangoes, harvested at full ripeness in the fruit orchards of the northern mountains, were at the same time a gesture for the patients and support for agriculture that respects the environment.
That day, we saw smiles, exchanged a few words, crossed glances full of gratitude. Once again, we understood that solidarity does not necessarily require grand gestures, but only a little heart and sincerity. It was not an isolated action. It is part of what we try to do every month: to be present, simply, for those who need it. And through every fruit offered, every thoughtful gesture, it is also a face of Vietnam that we share — a Vietnam of solidarity, warmth and deep humanity.
