Horizon Vietnam Travel Stands with Families Affected by Storms in Phu Yên

Phu Yên, November 29, 2025 – In a spirit of solidarity and social responsibility, Horizon Vietnam Travel participated, alongside many charitable organizations and partners, in a vast relief operation aimed at families severely affected by recent storms and floods in Phu Yên province (now Dak Lak).

On the occasion of this humanitarian action, 1,000 emergency relief baskets, representing a total value of approximately 700 million VND, were distributed directly to 1,000 affected households, providing essential aid to residents facing heavy material losses and particularly difficult living conditions.

The recent storms that struck Central Vietnam triggered heavy rains, extensive flooding, and sudden flash floods, causing significant damage in many localities, including Phú Yên province. Since October 2025, the region has experienced a succession of violent weather episodes, marked by heavy precipitation and strong winds, which have severely disrupted the daily lives of residents.

Families affected by the disaster gather to receive emergency aid

Many families have seen their homes damaged, their belongings swept away by water or covered in mud, and their means of subsistence severely affected, both at the agricultural level and in daily life. In such a situation, the distribution of emergency relief packages constitutes essential material support to help residents cope with the first days after the disaster.

The relief baskets distributed to families contained rice, cooking oil, salt, fish sauce, clothing, warm blankets, mats, mosquito nets, and various basic necessities. These aids aim to provide immediate comfort to affected populations, as many must cope with significant material losses and living conditions made particularly precarious.

By participating in this initiative, Horizon Vietnam Travel simply wishes to contribute its share of support to affected communities and stand alongside residents in these difficult times. The company remains convinced that each gesture, however modest, can help relieve families and encourage a broader wave of solidarity.
