Chapter 5: Horizon Vietnam Travel Alongside Hanoi Hematology Institute Patients – Solidarity Action on October 29, 2025
Table of contents
At the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion in Hanoi, hundreds of patients from all corners of Vietnam fight every day against serious illnesses.
Many of them live in precarious conditions, far from their homes and loved ones. Among them, children, exhausted parents, elderly people. All display admirable courage in the face of treatment, fatigue and the uncertainty of daily life.
It was in this context that, on October 29, 2025, the Horizon Vietnam Travel team went to the institute to conduct a new charitable action.
Indeed, thanks to your generosity, we were able to distribute more than 300 hot soups, milk cartons and fresh oranges to patients who came to receive this moment of comfort.

Before Distribution: A Beautiful Collective Momentum
Before the action began, our team took time to prepare bags of oranges — four per person.
And very quickly, a beautiful wave of solidarity formed: several women present on the street, perhaps patients or family members, as well as nurses, came spontaneously to help us.
Together, in a simple and joyful atmosphere, we packaged the fruit destined for patients.

This moment of preparation, filled with smiles and mutual aid, set the tone for the afternoon.
A Moment of Sharing and Goodwill

The distribution began around 4 p.m. and lasted about an hour, outside the hospital.
Little by little, patients approached to receive their soup, milk and bag of oranges.

The exchanges were discreet, often accompanied by a smile or a word of thanks.
A sweet and human atmosphere, where you could feel that each gesture, however small, carried a true message of support.

Travel Differently, With Heart
At Horizon Vietnam Travel, we believe that travel is not limited to discovering a country: it is also an encounter with humanity.
Every stay you undertake with us contributes to financing these solidarity actions conducted two or three times a month.
Thanks to you, these initiatives come to life and allow us to bring some warmth to those going through difficult times.
We are convinced that solidarity tourism gives a new dimension to travel: that of sharing, respect and responsibility.
Travel differently means also being present where a smile or an outstretched hand can make a difference.
Thank You
Finally, we extend our heartfelt thanks to you, our travelers, for your trust and generosity, as well as to everyone who participated in this solidarity action on October 29 — the Horizon Vietnam Travel team, volunteers, patients and nurses who came to help with goodwill.
These moments, though fleeting, leave a lasting mark.
At Horizon Vietnam Travel, we will continue to carry out these gestures of solidarity, convinced that more human tourism is not only possible, but essential.
