Inauguration of Two Residential Bridges in Ha Giang 20-21/01/2024

On January 20, 2024, the Horizon Vietnam team participated in an emotional inauguration ceremony, which marked the completion of two residential bridges in the villages of Bo Duoc and Vang Luong, located in Thuong Son commune, Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province.

This memorable event was made possible through collaboration with other dedicated humanitarian groups, such as the Next-G Charity Fund, Lotus Charity Group, An Phu Pearl and Jewelry Company, EMI Investment Joint Stock Company, Tu Tam Group, etc.

Solid Bridges for Strong Communities

The two newly constructed bridges, with lengths between 22 and 36 meters and a width of 3.5 meters each, represent a total contribution of nearly 2 billion VND (~75,521 euros).

A Deep Impact in the Villages of Bo Duoc and Vang Luong

The villages of Bo Duoc and Vang Luong, both located in Thuong Son commune, are home to over 700 family units belonging to the Hmong, Dao, and Tay ethnic minorities. Before the construction of these residential bridges, inhabitants had to cross risky temporary bridges to reach the commune center, especially during the rainy season.

Living conditions for inhabitants in the villages of Bo Duoc and Vang Luong remain precarious

The commissioning of these two civil bridges represents much more than physical infrastructure. It will facilitate not only the daily movement of residents but also stimulate commercial exchanges, strengthening the efficiency and potential of the region. Significantly, this initiative will contribute to improving the quality of life of people living in these ethnic minority areas.
